Note: Depending on your IM service, you
may not have access to all of the features
described in this guide, and some icons and
display texts may vary .
To connect to the service, select Menu >
Messaging > IMs. Select the desired connection
setting and account, and enter the user ID and
password.
When connected to the service, select Options and
the following may be available:
Add contact—to add contacts to your contact list
Groups (if supported by network)—to view list of
public groups, search for a group, or create a group
Search—to search for users or groups
Saved conversations—to view saved chat histories
When connected to the service, your status, as seen
by others, is shown in a status line: My status: Online,
