3 Replacing the power supply unit
The power supply unit (PSU) must be replaced only if the MetroSite BTS
installation is being upgraded from a 1W TRX configuration. See Table 4 for the
correct type of PSU replacements for a 5W TRX installation.
The PSU does not need replacing for 5W GSM to 5W GSM/EDGE field
upgrades.
3.1 PSU removal
Make sure that the power is turned OFF at the main disconnect device before
working on the PSU.
