Table 3-54: Heat Exchanger Alarm
Step Action
1 Turn circuit breaker “B” of the Heat Exchanger circuit breakers OFF. This will generate a Heat
Exchanger alarm, ensure that the LMF reports the correct alarm condition in the RF Cabinet.
2 Alarm condition will be reported as BTS Relay #25 - “Heat Exchanger Alarm” makes contact.
3 Turn the circuit breaker “B” ON. Ensure that the alarm condition is now removed.
NOTE
The Heat Exchanger will go through the Start Up sequence.
Door Alarm
Table 3-55 gives instructions on testing the door alarms.
NOTE
When conducting this test connect the LMF via the LAN port on
the back of the frame thru the Rear I/O Door.

Step Action
1 Close all doors on the power cabinet. Ensure that no alarms are reported on the LMF.
2 Individually open and then close each power supply cabinet door. Ensure that the LMF reports an
alarm when each door is opened.
3 Alarm condition will be reported as BTS Relay #27 “Door Alarm” makes contact.
AC Fail Alarm
Table 3-56 gives instructions on testing the AC Fail Alarm.

NOTE
The batteries should have a stable charge before performing this test.
Turn the Main AC breaker on the power cabinet OFF. The LMF should report an alarm on an AC Fail
(Rectifier Fail, Minor Alarm & Major Alarm) condition.
2 Alarm condition will be reported as BTS Relay #23, BTS # 21, BTS # 24 and BTS Relay # 29 “AC
Fail Alarm” makes contact respectively.
3 Turn the Main AC breaker on the power cabinet ON. The AC Fail alarm should clear.
Minor Alarm
Table 3-57 gives instructions on testing minor alarm.
