16 If the value shown for the configuration register is not 0x2102, enter the following command in the
order shown to change it:
configure terminal
config–register 0x2102
A response similar to the following will be displayed:

Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.

17 Verify the change was entered properly by entering the following commands in the order shown:
exit
show version
A response which begins and ends similar to the following will be displayed:
