NOTE
Examples in this procedure show prompts for BTSRTR–bts#–1–1 and BTSRTR–bts#–1–2, but the
procedure can be used for any router in any BTS router group or a router running the canned
configuration file (BTSRTR1 or BTSRTR2).
At the BTSRTR–bts#–1–1> user EXEC mode prompt, enter the following to access the privileged EXEC
mode:
enable
A response similar to the following will be displayed:
BTSRTR–bts#–1–1> enable
Password:
5 Enter the privileged EXEC mode password. A response similar to the following will be displayed:
BTSRTR–bts#–1–1> enable
Password:
BTSRTR–
bts#–1–1#
6 At the BTSRTR–bts#–1–1# privileged EXEC mode prompt, display the FE interface IP addresses by
typing:
show ip interface brief
A response similar to the following will be displayed:

7 For a FastEthernet0/0 (fa0/0) or FastEthernet0/1(fa0/1) interface which does not have a correct or an
assigned IP address, enter the following at the router prompt to access the global configuration mode:
configure terminal

Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.
