RemovetheBCUIIcardcageassemblyfromtheframe.

LocatetheQ-HSOontheBCUIIrearpanel.

UsingaT20TORXbitanddriver ,loosenthethumbscrewontheQ-HSO(seeFigure8-3).
Usingyourthumbandnger ,completelyloosenthecaptivethumbscrew .

Graspthetopend(thatis,thethumbscrewend)ofQ-HSOandpullitawayfromtheBCUII
rearpaneluntilthe9–pinD-connectorsarefullydisengaged.

SlidetheQ-HSOuntilthetabonthebottomendoftheQ-HSOisdisengagedfromthe
retainingslotontheBCUIIrearpanel.

WiththereplacementQ-HSOproperlypositioned,insertthetabonthebottomendofthe
Q-HSOundertheretainingslotontheBCUIIrearpanel.

AligntheQ-HSO9–pinD-connectorwiththeMSOconnectorontheBCUIIrearpanel.
FirmlypushthetopendoftheQ-HSOagainsttheBCUIIrearpaneluntiltheconnectorsare
fullyengaged.

AligntheQ-HSOthumbscrewwiththethreadedhole.UsingaT20TORXbitanddriver,
tightenthethumbscrewto2.3N-m(20in-lbs).

ReinstalltheBCUIIcardcageassemblyintotheframeaccordingthestepsinProcedure8-12
