RemovetheSiteControllercardasfollows:
1.LocatetheSiteControllercard.
2.Holdtheopenfrontpaneldoorinthe90degreesposition.
3.UsingaT10TORXbitanddriver,completelyloosenandremovethetwo
screwsthatsecuretheex-circuitconnectortotheinsideofthefront
paneldoorassembly .
4.Grasptheex-circuitconnectoranddisconnectitfromthefrontpanel
doorassembly .
5.Openthefrontpaneldoortothe120degreesposition.Thisisthe
maximumopenlimitforthedoor.Thereisamechanicalstopperpinthat
indicatesthis120degreesposition.
6.Simultaneouslypressthelockingtabsonbothcardejectorlatches.
Rotatebothcardejectorlatchesoutfromthecardtodisengagethe
cardfromtheBCUIIcage.
7.GrasptheSiteControllercardfrontpanel.Pullthecardawayfrom
theBCUIIcardcage.Slidethecard,alongwiththeex-circuit,outof
theBCUIIcardcage.

ReachinthroughthevacantSiteControllercardandModem1cardslots
towardthefantrayandtheleftendoftheBCUIIcagebackplane.Locatethe
fantraycableconnectorthatispluggedintotheBCUIIbackplane.

Disconnectthefantraycableconnectorbygraspingtheconnectorandpulling
itawayfromthebackplane.

LocatethefantrayontheBCUIIrearpanel.

UsingaT20TORXbitanddriver,completelyloosenthefourcaptivescrews
thatsecurethefantraytotherearoftheBCUII(seeFigure8-5).Thereis
captivescrewlocatedineachcornerofthefantray .

pushthefantrayouttherearoftheBCUII.
GraspthefantrayandpullitoutfromtherearoftheBCUII.
