ConnecttheBlackcabletotheterminalblock.ConnecttheRedcabletothe
DCSurgeSuppressor .Tightentheconnectors.
CAUTION
Ensurethattheferrulesdonotcontacteachother ,other
metallicstructure,tools,oranyotherconductivemediaafter
nalinstallation.Caremustbetakentoensurethatthecircuit
isisolatedandcomplete.
DonotengagetheRRHCircuitBreakersuntilacompleteand
properconnectionhasbeenmadeattheRRHendofthe
conductor ,andtheRRHisinitsnalmountedposition.
Donotovertorquetheterminalblockofthecustomersupplied
powerwhentighteningthecableconnections.Thecustomer
suppliedpowerterminalblockmustnottwist.

Routethepowercableupthepoletotheappropriateheads.Groundthecable
alongitslengthusingtheshieldandbraidofthecableforgroundconnection
tothetowerstructureorothermaingroundpointorstructure.
Ifconduitisbeingused,routethepowercablesthroughtheconduit.

ConnectthepowercabletothedcinputconnectorontheRRH.Tie-wrap
cableasnecessary .Ensurethatthereissufcientstrainrelief.

throughplatefromtheleftinsidewalloftheBCUII.
