15. SNMP
Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) is a Network
management protocol used almost exclusively in TCP/IP networks.
SNMP provides a means to monitor and control network devices, and
to manage configurations, statistics collection, performance, and
security.

1. Go to Administration > User Admin > SNMP
2. Select Enable SNMP checkbox to enable SNMP function
3. Type in suitable string in Read Community; the string of Read
Community between Network Manage System (NMS) and AP must
be identical, otherwise, NMS cannot get information from AP. public
is default setting.
4. Type in suitable string in Write Community; the string of Write
Community between Network Manage System (NMS) and AP must
be identical, otherwise, NMS cannot modify AP’s setting. netman is
default setting.
5. Click Submit
6. Click Save & Apply
Note:
- AP support up to four trap host at the same time. The
information about trap hosts will be listed in the trap host table
