SAFETY & PRECAUTIONS CAUTION Do not expose charger to rain or snow. Use of an attachment not recommended or sold by the battery charger manufacturer may result in a risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons. To reduce risk of damage to electric plug and cord, pull by plug rather than cord when disconnecting charger. Do not operate charger with damaged cord or plug – replace the cord or plug immediately.
6 SAFETY & PRECAUTIONS PERSONAL PRECAUTIONS USE THE FOLLOWING PRECAUTIONS WHEN YOU WORK NEAR LEAD-ACID BATTERIES: • Someone should be within range of your voice or close enough to come to your aid if you have an accident. • Have plenty of fresh water and soap nearby in case battery acid contacts skin, clothing, or eyes. • Wear complete eye protection and protective clothing. Avoid touching your eyes while working near a battery.
8 USING THE G750 CONNECTING TO THE BATTERY Before you connect to the battery, make sure that the AC power plug is not connected to an electrical outlet. DO NOT CONNECT THE BATTERY CHARGER AC POWER PLUG TO THE ELECTRICAL OUTLET UNTIL ALL OTHER CONNECTIONS ARE MADE. Make sure you have identified the correct polarity of the battery terminals on the battery. The POSITIVE battery terminal is typically marked by these letters or symbol (POS,P,+).
10 USING THE G750 USING THE G750 USER INTERFACE MODE BUTTON The MODE button is used to select manually between 6V or 12V charging modes and STANDBY. CHARGE LED The CHARGE LED indicates the charging process. The CHARGE LED will be RED during the charging process and will turn GREEN when the battery is fully charged. 6V MODE LED The 6V MODE LED (Red) is illuminated when the battery charger is in the 6V charging mode.

18 TROUBLESHOOTING • HIGH VOLTAGE BATTERY If the battery voltage is above 7.0VDC and you have selected 6V charge mode, it could cause this ERROR condition. This ERROR will cause the CHARGE LED and ERROR LED to blink continuously. To resolve this ERROR condition, select 12V charge mode. • ABNORMALITY PROTECTION This ERROR condition is the result of the battery charger being in the Bulk phase for more than 120 hours. This ERROR condition is the result of a bad battery.
20 TROUBLESHOOTING • FOR 12V BATTERIES If you are trying to charge a 12V battery that is below 7.0VDC, switch the battery charger into 6V charge mode to begin charging a low voltage 12V battery. When the CHARGE LED turns from Red to Green, the battery voltage will be above 7.0VDC and you can return the battery charger back to the 12V charge mode. TESTING TO SEE IF CHARGER IS CHARGING Before applying AC power to the charger, measure the battery with a digital volt meter and write the value down.

DÉPANNAGE • HAUTE TENSION DE BATTERIE Si la tension de la batterie est supérieure à 7,0 V c.c. et que le mode de charge de 6 V a été sélectionné, ceci peut causer cette condition d'ERREUR. Cette ERREUR provoque le clignotement continu des voyants DEL de CHARGE et d'ERREUR. Pour résoudre cette condition, sélectionner le mode de charge de 12 V. • PROTECTION CONTRE LES ANOMALIES Cette condition d'ERREUR est causée par le chargeur de batterie étant en mode de charge en vrac pendant plus de 120 heures.
DÉPANNAGE • POUR LES BATTERIES DE 12 V Pour charger une batterie de 12 V dont la tension est inférieure à 7,0 V c.c., mettre le chargeur de batterie en mode de charge de 6 V pour commencer la charge d'une batterie de 12 V de faible tension. Lorsque le voyant DEL de CHARGE passe du rouge au vert, la tension de la batterie est supérieure à 7,0 V c.c. et le chargeur de batterie peut être réglé sur le mode de charge de 12 V. SOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS • BATERÍA CON ALTO VOLTAJE Si el voltaje de la batería es mayor de 7 V CC y ha seleccionado el modo de carga de 6 V, eso podría causar esta situación de ERROR. Este ERROR hará que el LED de CHARGE y el LED de ERROR parpadeen sin parar. Para resolver este ERROR, seleccione el modo de carga de 12 V. • PROTECCIÓN ANTE ANOMALÍAS Esta situación de ERROR es producto de que el cargador de batería ha permanecido en la fase de carga principal durante más de 120 horas.
SOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS • PARA BATERÍAS DE 12 V Si está intentando cargar una batería de 12 V que está a menos de 7 V CC, seleccione el modo de carga de 6 V en el cargador de batería para comenzar a cargar una batería de 12 V con bajo voltaje. Cuando el LED de CARGA pasa de rojo a verde, el voltaje de la batería superará los 7 V CC, y podrá volver al modo de carga de 12 V en el cargador de batería.
