SAFETY & PRECAUTIONS CAUTION Do not expose charger to rain or snow. Use of an attachment not recommended or sold by the battery charger manufacturer may result in a risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons. To reduce risk of damage to electric plug and cord, pull by plug rather than cord when disconnecting charger. Do not operate charger with damaged cord or plug – replace the cord or plug immediately.
6 SAFETY & PRECAUTIONS PERSONAL PRECAUTIONS USE THE FOLLOWING PRECAUTIONS WHEN YOU WORK NEAR LEAD-ACID BATTERIES: • Someone should be within range of your voice or close enough to come to your aid if you have an accident. • Have plenty of fresh water and soap nearby in case battery acid contacts skin, clothing, or eyes. • Wear complete eye protection and protective clothing. Avoid touching your eyes while working near a battery.
8 USING THE G4 BATTERY SPECS The G4 is suitable for charging all types of 6V &12V lead-acid batteries, including Wet (Flooded), Gel, MF (Maintenance-Free) and AGM (Absorption Glass Mat) batteries. The G4 is suitable for charging batteries sized from 2.2 to 40Ah. The battery charger can also maintain all battery sizes. CHARGE MODES The G4 is equipped with four (4) charging modes per bank: 6V NORM, 6V COLD/AGM, 12V NORM and 12V COLD/AGM.
10 USING THE G4 CONNECTING TO THE BATTERY Before you connect to the battery, make sure that the AC power plug is not connected to an electrical outlet. DO NOT CONNECT THE BATTERY CHARGER AC POWER PLUG TO THE ELECTRICAL OUTLET UNTIL ALL OTHER CONNECTIONS ARE MADE. Make sure you have identified the correct polarity of the battery terminals on the battery. The POSITIVE battery terminal is typically marked by these letters or symbol (POS,P,+).

16 USING THE G4 USING THE G4 CHARGING STEPS 17 Step 6: Trickle Battery is fully charged and ready to use, indicated by the 100% CHARGE LED being a solid Green. In this step, the battery charger will only delivery enough current that the battery needs. If the battery tells the charger that more current is needed, the battery charger will switch to Maintenance. Step 7: Maintenance Continuously monitors the battery voltage to determine if a maintenance charge should be initiated.
18 USING THE G4 TECHNICAL SPECS WICKED SMART FEATURE Input Voltage AC Working Voltage AC Input Current Efficiency Power Charging Voltage ABNORMALITY PROTECTION. If the battery charger is in the Bulk mode for more than 96 hours, the battery charger will go into an ERROR condition. This feature prevents damage if the battery is faulty. 20 TROUBLESHOOTING TROUBLESHOOTING ORANGE ERROR LED ILLUMINATES If you have accidentally reversed the battery connections, POSITIVE to NEGATIVE (and vice versa), an ERROR LED (Orange) will illuminate solid. If you see the ERROR LED illuminated, you will need to clear the ERROR by correcting the battery connections, POSITIVE to POSITIVE and NEGATIVE to NEGATIVE. The ERROR LED is a visual diagnostic tool to inform you that you have made the wrong battery connections.
22 TROUBLESHOOTING • CORROSION ON BATTERY TERMINALS Check the battery connections for battery corrosion. If battery corrosion is present on the battery connections, it could cause this ERROR condition. Remove the battery corrosion to resolve this ERROR condition. • LOOSE BATTERY CONNECTIONS Check the battery connections to the battery. If the battery connections are loose, it could cause this ERROR condition. Tighten the battery connections to resolve this ERROR condition.
24 LIMITED WARRANTY LIMITED WARRANTY 25 The NOCO Company (“NOCO”) warrants that its Battery Charger products (the “Product”) will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the date of purchase (the “Warranty Period”). For defects reported during the Warranty Period, NOCO will, at its discretion, and subject to NOCO’s technical support analysis, either repair or replace, for the fees set forth below, any Product manufactured by NOCO that contains such a defect.
26 LIMITED WARRANTY 27 THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER: 1.) Normal wear and tear. 2.) Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality. 3.) Products where the NOCO serial number is missing, altered, or defaced. LIMITED WARRANTY FEES These fees apply only to Product during the Warranty Period. The Limited Warranty is void either by elapsed time from date of purchase or from the conditions listed earlier in this document.

34 SÉCURITÉ ET PRÉCAUTIONS PRÉCAUTIONS PERSONNELLES PRENDRE LES PRÉCAUTIONS SUIVANTES LORS DE TRAVAUX À PROXIMITÉ DE BATTERIES AU PLOMB-ACIDE : • Une personne doit se trouver à portée de voix ou à proximité pour venir à l'aide en cas d'accident. • Prévoir de l'eau fraîche et du savon en quantité suffisante et à proximité en cas de contact de l'acide de batterie avec la peau, les vêtements ou les yeux. • Porter une protection oculaire intégrale et des vêtements de protection.
UTILISATION DU G4 CARACTÉRISTIQUES TECHNIQUES DES BATTERIES Le G4 est compatible avec tous les types de batteries au plomb-acide de 6 V et 12 V, y compris les batteries à liquide, gel, sans entretien et AGM (séparateur en fibres de verre absorbantes). La borne de batterie POSITIVE est généralement indiquée par les lettres ou symboles POS, P ou +.
UTILISATION DU G4 UTILISATION DU G4 INTERFACE UTILISATEUR VOYANT DEL D’ALLUMAGE Le voyant DEL d’allumage se maintiendra tant que le dispositif est ALLUMÉ. BOUTON D’ALLUMAGE GÉNÉRAL Ce bouton sert à ALLUMER et à ÉTEINDRE le dispositif dans son intégralité. VOYANT DEL DE VEILLE Le VOYANT DEL DE VEILLE (Vert) s’allume si vous n’avez pas choisi un mode de charge. 44 UTILISATION DU G4 UTILISATION DU G4 ÉTAPES DE CHARGE 45 Étape 6 : Entretien La batterie est complètement chargée et prête à l'emploi, ce qui est indiqué par le voyant DEL de CHARGE à 100 % allumé en vert en continu. Dans cette étape, le chargeur de batterie ne délivre que le courant nécessaire à la batterie. Si la batterie indique au chargeur que plus de courant est requis, le chargeur de batterie passe en mode de Maintien.
46 UTILISATION DU G4 CARACTÉRISTIQUES TECHNIQUES FONCTION WICKED SMART Tension d'entrée c.a. Tension de service c.a. Courant d'entrée Efficacité Puissance Tension de charge PROTECTION CONTRE LES ANOMALIES. Si le chargeur de batterie reste en mode de charge en vrac pendant 96 heures, le chargeur de batterie passe en condition d'ERREUR. DÉPANNAGE DÉPANNAGE LE VOYANT DEL D'ERREUR ORANGE S'ALLUME Si les connexions de la batterie ont été inversées accidentellement, de POSITIF à NÉGATIF (et vice-versa), le voyant DEL d'ERREUR (orange) s'allume en continu. Si le voyant DEL d'ERREUR s'allume, l'ERREUR doit être effacée en corrigeant les connexions de la batterie, POSITIF sur POSITIF et NÉGATIF sur NÉGATIF. Le voyant DEL d'ERREUR est un outil de diagnostic visuel indiquant que les connexions de la batterie sont incorrectes.
DÉPANNAGE • CORROSION SUR LES BORNES DE BATTERIE Vérifier que les connexions de la batterie ne sont pas corrodées. Si elles le sont, ceci pourrait causer une condition d’ERREUR. Retirer la corrosion de la batterie pour résoudre cette condition. • CONNEXIONS DE BATTERIE DESSERRÉES Vérifier les connexions de la batterie. Si elles sont desserrées, ceci pourrait causer une condition d’ERREUR. Resserrer les connexions de la batterie pour résoudre cette condition.
GARANTIE LIMITÉE GARANTIE LIMITÉE 53 The NOCO Company (« NOCO ») garantit ses chargeurs de batterie (le « produit ») contre les vices de matériau et de fabrication pour une période de cinq (5) ans à partir de la date d'achat (la « période de garantie »). Pour les vices rapportés durant la période de garantie, NOCO réparera ou remplacera, à sa discrétion et suite à l'analyse du soutien technique de NOCO, tout produit fabriqué par NOCO présentant un tel vice, et ce pour les montants indiqués ci-dessous.

62 PRECAUCIONES Y SEGURIDAD PRECAUCIONES PERSONALES TENGA LAS SIGUIENTES PRECAUCIONES CUANDO TRABAJE CERCA DE BATERÍAS DE PLOMO Y ÁCIDO: • Debe encontrarse al alcance del oído o suficientemente cerca de una persona que lo pueda socorrer en caso de un accidente. • Debe contar con abundante agua dulce y jabón a su alcance en caso de que el ácido de la batería entre en contacto con la piel, la vestimenta o los ojos. • Use protección ocular completa e indumentaria de protección.
CÓMO USAR EL G4 ESPECIFICACIONES DE LA BATERÍA El G4 es apto para cargar todos los tipos de baterías de plomo y ácido de 6 V y 12 V, entre las que se incluyen las baterías de electrolito líquido, de gel, tipo MF (sin mantenimiento) y tipo AGM (baterías de electrolito absorbido, con separadores de fibra de vidrio). El G4 es apropiado para cargar baterías de entre 2,2 y 40 Ah. El cargador de batería también puede mantener todos los tamaños de batería.

74 CÓMO USAR EL G4 ESPECIFICACIONES TÉCNICAS CARACTERÍSTICA INGENIOSA DE WICKED SMART PROTECCIÓN ANTE ANOMALÍAS. Si el cargador de batería permanece en el modo principal durante más de 96 horas, marcará una situación de ERROR. Esta característica previene que se produzcan daños si la batería es defectuosa. Eso sí es ingenioso, como Wicked Smart™. TIEMPOS DE CARGA El tiempo requerido para cargar una batería descargada de manera normal con el G4 se muestra a continuación.
SOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS SOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS SE ENCIENDE EL LED DE ERROR ANARANJADO Si accidentalmente invirtió la polaridad de las conexiones de la batería, POSITIVO con NEGATIVO (y viceversa) se encenderá de manera fija un LED de ERROR (anaranjado). Si observa que el LED de ERROR está encendido, deberá despejar el ERROR corrigiendo las conexiones de la batería, POSITIVO con POSITIVO y NEGATIVO con NEGATIVO.
SOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS • CORROSIÓN EN LOS BORNES DE LA BATERÍA Verifique que no haya corrosión en las conexiones de la batería. Si encuentra corrosión en las conexiones de la batería, esa podría ser la causa de esta situación de ERROR. Para resolver esta situación de ERROR, quite la corrosión de la batería. • CONEXIONES DE BATERÍA FLOJAS Verifique las conexiones de la batería. Si las conexiones de la batería están flojas, esa podría ser la causa de esta situación de ERROR.
