Avoid touching your eyes while working near a battery.
8 USING THE G3500 BATTERY SPECS The following recommendations should ONLY be considered as guidelines. Always refer to the battery manufacturer’s recommendations for battery charging. The G3500 is suitable for charging all types of 6V &12V lead-acid batteries, including Wet (Flooded), Gel, MF (Maintenance-Free) and AGM (Absorption Glass Mat) batteries and battery sizes from 1.2 to 120Ah (and 1.2 to 14Ah for small batteries). The battery charger can also maintain all battery sizes.
10 USING THE G3500 MODE EXPLANATION 6V SMALL COLD/AGM 7.4V 1.2-14Ah 0.9A (900mA) Blue LED The COLD/AGM charge mode is for charging batteries in cold weather and AGM (also known as, “spiral wound”) batteries. If a battery’s (Wet, Gel, MF or AGM) temperature is below 32˚F (0˚C), use the COLD/AGM charge mode. If you are unsure of the chemistry of your battery, DO NOT use this charge mode, and use the NORM charge mode instead. When selected, a Blue LED will illuminate. 12V SMALL NORM 14.4V 1.2-14Ah 0.
12 USING THE G3500 IF THE BATTERY IS INSTALLED INSIDE OF THE VEHICLE 1.) Position both the AC power plug and battery clamps or eyelet terminal connectors to avoid accidental damage by moving vehicle parts (i.e. hoods, doors) or moving engine parts (i.e. fan blades, belts, pulleys). 2.) Determine the vehicle’s battery system. If the POSITIVE (POS,P,+) battery terminal is connected to the vehicle chassis, then the vehicle has a Positive Ground System.
14 USING THE G3500 15 MODE BUTTON The MODE button is used to select the charging modes manually. ERROR LED The ERROR LED (Orange) will illuminate when an error condition or reverse polarity is present. CHARGE LEVEL Indicates the current charge level of the battery. 18 USING THE G3500 CHARGING STEPS USING THE G3500 19 Step 7: Trickle Battery is fully charged and ready to use, indicated by the 100% CHARGE LED being a solid Green. In this step, the battery charger will only deliver enough current to keep the battery full. If the battery tells the charger that more current is needed, the battery charger will switch to Maintenance. Step 8: Maintenance Continuously monitors the battery voltage to determine if a maintenance charge should be initiated.

If the battery charger is in the Bulk mode for more than 48 hours, the battery charger will go into an ERROR condition. This feature prevents damage if the battery is faulty. 22 TROUBLESHOOTING TROUBLESHOOTING ORANGE ERROR LED ILLUMINATES If you have accidentally reversed the battery connections, POSITIVE to NEGATIVE (and vice versa), an ERROR LED (Orange) will illuminate solid. If you see the ERROR LED illuminated, you will need to clear the ERROR by correcting the battery connections, POSITIVE to POSITIVE and NEGATIVE to NEGATIVE. The ERROR LED is a visual diagnostic tool to inform you that you have made the wrong battery connections.
24 TROUBLESHOOTING CHARGE LED(S) IMMEDIATELY ILLUMINATE TO 100% If the battery charger’s CHARGE LED(S) immediately illuminate to 100% when the AC power is applied to the battery charger, the battery is either already fully charged or the battery is in extremely poor condition as a result of sulfation or damage. If the battery is new, the battery is likely already fully charged.
26 LIMITED WARRANTY LIMITED WARRANTY 27 The NOCO Company (“NOCO”) warrants that its Battery Charger products (the “Product”) will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the date of purchase (the “Warranty Period”). For defects reported during the Warranty Period, NOCO will, at its discretion, and subject to NOCO’s technical support analysis, either repair or replace, for the fees set forth below, any Product manufactured by NOCO that contains such a defect.

UTILISATION DU G3500 MODE EXPLICATION 6V SMALL (PETITE) COLD/AGM (FROIDE/AGM) 7,4 V 1,2-14 Ah 0,9 A (900 mA) DEL bleue Le mode de charge COLD/AGM (FROID/AGM) est destiné à charger les batteries par temps froids et les batteries AGM (spirale). Si la température de la batterie (liquide, gel, sans entretien ou AGM) est inférieure à 0° C (32° F), utiliser le mode de charge COLD/AGM (Froid/AGM).
UTILISATION DU G3500 SI LA BATTERIE EST INSTALLÉE DANS LE VÉHICULE 1.) Placer la prise c.a. et les connecteurs à bride ou à cosse à anneau de façon à éviter les dommages accidentels en déplaçant les éléments du véhicule (c'est-à-dire capot, portières) ou les organes mobiles du moteur (c'est-à-dire pales de ventilateur, courroies, poulies). 2.) Déterminer le système de batterie du véhicule.
UTILISATION DU G3500 BOUTON MODE Le bouton MODE sert à sélectionner manuellement les modes de charge. VOYANT DEL D'ERREUR 45 Le voyant DEL d'ERREUR (orange) s'allume lorsqu'une condition d'erreur ou une inversion de polarité est présente. 48 UTILISATION DU G3500 ÉTAPES DE CHARGE UTILISATION DU G3500 49 Étape 7 : Entretien La batterie est complètement chargée et prête à l'emploi, ce qui est indiqué par le voyant DEL de CHARGE à 100 % allumé en vert en continu. Dans cette étape, le chargeur de batterie ne délivre que le courant nécessaire à maintenir la batterie pleine. Si la batterie indique au chargeur que plus de courant est requis, le chargeur de batterie passe en mode de Maintien.
UTILISATION DU G3500 CARACTÉRISTIQUES TECHNIQUES Tension d'entrée c.a. Tension de service c.a. Courant d'entrée Efficacité Puissance Tension de charge FONCTION WICKED SMART PROTECTION CONTRE LES ANOMALIES. Si le chargeur de batterie reste en mode de charge en vrac pendant 48 heures, le chargeur de batterie passe en condition d'ERREUR. DÉPANNAGE DÉPANNAGE LE VOYANT DEL D'ERREUR ORANGE S'ALLUME Si les connexions de la batterie ont été inversées accidentellement, de POSITIF à NÉGATIF (et vice-versa), le voyant DEL d'ERREUR (orange) s'allume en continu. Si le voyant DEL d'ERREUR s'allume, l'ERREUR doit être effacée en corrigeant les connexions de la batterie, POSITIF sur POSITIF et NÉGATIF sur NÉGATIF. Le voyant DEL d'ERREUR est un outil de diagnostic visuel indiquant que les connexions de la batterie sont incorrectes.
54 DÉPANNAGE LE(S) VOYANT(S) DEL S'ALLUME(NT) IMMÉDIATEMENT À 100 %. Si le(s) voyant(s) DEL de CHARGE du chargeur s'allume(nt) immédiatement à 100 % lorsqu'une tension c.a. est appliquée sur le chargeur, la batterie est soit complètement chargée, soit en très mauvais état dû à un sulfatage ou à des dommages. Si la batterie est neuve, il est très probable qu'elle soit déjà complètement chargée.

CÓMO USAR EL G3500 MODO EXPLICACIÓN 6 V SMALL COLD/AGM 7,4 V 1,2 a 14 Ah 0,9 A (900 mA) LED azul El modo de carga COLD/AGM se utiliza para cargar baterías en situaciones de baja temperatura y para las baterías tipo AGM (también conocidas como “espiraladas”). Si la temperatura de una batería (de electrolito líquido, de gel, tipo MF o tipo AGM) está por debajo de los 32 ºF (0 ºC), utilice el modo de carga COLD/AGM. Si no conoce la composición química de su batería, NO utilice este modo de carga.

CÓMO USAR EL G3500 ESPECIFICACIONES TÉCNICAS CARACTERÍSTICA INGENIOSA DE WICKED SMART PROTECCIÓN ANTE ANOMALÍAS. Si el cargador de batería permanece en el modo principal durante más de 48 horas, marcará una situación de ERROR. Esta característica previene que se produzcan daños si la batería es defectuosa. Eso sí es ingenioso, como Wicked Smart™. TIEMPOS DE CARGA El tiempo requerido para cargar una batería descargada de manera normal con el G3500 se muestra a continuación.
SOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS SOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS SE ENCIENDE EL LED DE ERROR ANARANJADO Si accidentalmente invirtió la polaridad de las conexiones de la batería, POSITIVO con NEGATIVO (y viceversa) se encenderá de manera fija un LED de ERROR (anaranjado). Si observa que el LED de ERROR está encendido, deberá despejar el ERROR corrigiendo las conexiones de la batería, POSITIVO con POSITIVO y NEGATIVO con NEGATIVO.
SOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS LOS LED DE CHARGE SE ENCIENDEN AL 100% EN FORMA INMEDIATA Si los LED de CHARGE del cargador de batería se encienden directamente al 100% cuando se conecta el cargador de batería a la fuente de alimentación de CA, puede ser que la batería esté completamente cargada o en muy malas condiciones por estar sulfatada o dañada. Si la batería es nueva, es probable que ya esté completamente cargada.
