This product is a model building item and not a toy. For appropriate application and
use, tools like a sharp cutter, a sharp pair of scissors and special glue are necessary.
Therefore, appropriate work with this model building product does pose risk of
injury! For that reason this product is not for children!
Keep this product as well as all accessories (glue, paints, cutter etc.) out of
reach of children under 3 years of age!
For the use of paints and glues please follow these safety precautions carefully: Do not eat, drink or smoke. Avoid
any contact with eyes, skin or mouth. Do not breathe any vapours. Keep away from ignition sources. Follow the
instructions and safety precautions of the manufacturer carefully. First aid for contact with eyes: Flush the eye with
clean water holding the eyelid open. Immediately consult medical advice.

WARNING: Hot materials & burn danger!
The water-drops® are extremely hot in working form. Do not touch or contact your skin. Wear heat resistant
protective gloves and clothing when using the water drops. Skin contact, cool immediately and contact your
doctor.
Technical Details:
Water-Drops® (Transparent Item No. 60855 & Color Item No. 60856).
Melting 250 g of the granules will produce approximately 300 ml of liquid material.
The melting point for the Water-Drops is 135°C (275°F).

Preparations:
Properly using model water products for your scenery is a challenge for most model landscapers. NOCH presents the
perfect and easy to use solution for your model water needs.
The model water is one of many factors in creating a natural scene and we have the solutions. Our Modelling Compound
(Item No. 60920) is the ideal base material for riverbed or lakebed and this material is mandatory if you are working on a
plastic layout base. Make sure the Modelling Compound is thoroughly dry. This will prevent the forming of bubbles in your
water. The NOCH Riverbed Colour Set (Item No. 60875) is ideal product to paint and give depth to water body. We have
plenty of pebbles, rocks, flock and grass materials to decorate your water body and the banks.
Melting the Transparent Water Drops® (Item No. 60855 and 60856)
Select Air Circulation or Top and Bottom Heat and pre-heat oven to 170 – 180°C (338 – 356°F). Pour all the granules and
Water Drops® Softner (included in package) into a clean bake safe jar or pot. Put the jar into the pre-heated oven on top
of a sheet of aluminium foil or baking paper. Set the timer for 40 – 45 minutes and observe the melting process. The
Water Drops will melt into a clear liquid.
Info: The melting time may differ slightly between the various oven manufacturers.
Carefully remove the jar or pot from the oven.
WARNING: The water drops are extremely hot in fluid form. Do not touch or contact your skin. Wear heat
resistant protective gloves and clothing when using the water drops.
VERY IMPORTANT: Stir the water drops® with metal spoon or screwdriver. If the material is not bubble-free or not
transparent, return the jar or pot in the oven and heat it for a few more minutes.
Tip: Wipe off your spoon or screwdriver with a fluff-free towel or rag. Be careful not to touch the spoon or screwdriver, it
could be hot.
You have 3 to 4 minutes working time before the water drops cool off and become a solid material. Pour the liquid into the
lakebed or riverbed. Allow the material to dry. You may use a hair dryer to heat the surface to remove any small bubbles
or to create waves. You may repeat the melting process and detail until you reach the desired scene.
Using the Colour Water-Drops® (Item No. 60856)
Follow the identical instructions and melting process that you used for the Transparent Water Drops®. Add the non-
melted colour granules into the melted (liquid form) transparent water drops and continue to do so until you acquire the
desired colour. The combination and amount of colours is entirely up to you.
Tip: To avoid a single colour, we recommend melting multiple jars or pots of the transparent water and then adding the
colour granules to each jar or pot.
Unused portions can be stored and re-melted at a later time.
