4.1 Appearances
When you have successfully installed the drivers and the Connect
software on your computer, the taskbar will show a new icon:
This icon will give you information on the status of your computer in
relation to the wireless networks in your environment.
The wireless network icon can have three different appearances.
Each appearance shows the status of the connection between your
computer and the wireless network:
There is no 11 Mbps Wireless LAN PC Card present in the
PC Card slot of your computer.
Everything is installed but there is no connection with a
wireless network.
Hard- and software are okay and there is a connection
with a wireless network.
