1. How much depth is required on the base
or sill of the shower to install?
Answer: For Niveal® Ruhr Series Sliding
Frameless Shower Door, a minimum 2 ¾ in.
(70mm) depth is required to install.
2. Do both panels slide or just one?
Answer: Niveal® Ruhr Series Sliding
Frameless Shower Door consists of one
fixed panel and one sliding panel. If you are
interested in a bypass shower door, feel
free to check out “Niveal® Vale Semi-
frameless Shower Door”.
3. Can it be installed either left- or right-
handed opening?
Answer: Yes. Niveal® Ruhr Series Sliding
Frameless Shower Door is designed to
accommodate to either left-or right-handed
entry installation. But make sure to choose
the correct step-by-step instructions prior
to installation.
4. Can it be installed on acrylic, marble, or
tile?
Answer: Yes. But prior to installation,
please check that the surface is strong
enough to support the weight of the
shower door and make sure to use the
appropriate anchors. Note that we are not
responsible for any damage caused by
inappropriate installation.
5. Is it a soft closing door?
Answer: No. Though Niveal® Ruhr Sliding
Framless Shower Door does not contain
soft-closing feature, it has a stopper that
prevents door from hitting the wall.
6. What should I do if my shower opening
is less than 60 inches?
Answer: All Niveal® Shower Door allows for
a minimum of -4 inches accommodation
through cutting the top rail and bottom
track. However, inevitably, there will be
overlaps between the two glass panels.
7. What is the dimension and weight of the
box?
Answer: The overall of the product is 80 in.
L x 40 in. W x 8 in. H. The product is packed
by a wood box to avoid damages due to
shipping. The total weight is around 200 lbs.
It is highly recommended that the unit to be
handled by 2 adults.
8. What should I do if there is missing or
damaged parts?
Answer: Please check for any missing or
damaged part prior to installation. Check
for small hardware and accessory boxes
before discarding the shipping box. Feel
