BEFORE MACHINE START-UP

Brush or pad-holder installation/removal (for SCRUBTEC 545B - 545BL - 553B - 553BL)

1. According to the kind of cleaning to be performed, the machine can be equipped either with the brush (A, Fig. 2) or the pad-

holder (B) with pad (C) together with the appropriate deck.

2. Insert the ignition key (80) and turn it to “I”.

3. If equipped, turn the speed adjuster (84) to idle by turning it counter-clockwise.

4. Place the brush (A) or the pad-holder (B) under the deck (18).

5. Lower the deck on the brush by pressing the pedal (11).

6. Turn the ignition key (80) to “I”.

7. Press the One-Touch push-button (71).

8. Press one of the push-buttons (83) to engage the brush/pad-holder, then release it. If necessary, repeat the procedure until the

brush is engaged.

WARNING!

(Only for SCRUBTEC 545BL and 553BL): Turn the speed adjuster (84) counter-clockwise to drive the machine at

the minimum speed.

To engage the brush press one of the push-buttons (83) which turns on the brush/pad-holder motor.

9. To remove the brush, the deck must be lifted by pressing the pedal (11), then press the release push-button (75) and wait for

the brush to fall on the oor.

Turn the ignition key (80) to “0”.
