7.2.8 Replacing filter element
"M" (XtremeClean
System)
During the following work, ensure
that dust is not unnecessarily
spread around, Wear a P2 breath-
ing mask.
Never use the vacuum cleaner
without a filter.
1. Switch off the vacuum
cleaner and pull the mains
plug out of the socket.
2. Open the retaining clamps
(A) and remove the up-
per section of the vacuum
cleaner.
Removing the filter elements:
3. Open fi lter tension part (B).
4. Remove carefully the cas-
settes with fi lter elements.
Inserting the filter elements:
5. Insert new fi lter elements
(C) into the cassettes (D).
6. Attach the cassettes with
the fi lter elements onto the
upper section of the vacuum
cleaner.
7. Fix the fi lter tension part
(B).
8. Dispose of the used fi l-
ter elements in accord-
ance with legal regulations.
9. Attach the upper section of
the vacuum cleaner.
10. Close the retaining clamps
(A). Ensure that the retain-
ing clamps fit properly.
