New Menu Item: “High-Frequency Flicker Reduction”
[High-frequency flicker reduction] items
have been added to the photo shooting and
video recording menus. Selecting [On
(shutter speed fine-tuning)] allows shutter
speeds between
1
/
8000
and
1
/
30
s to be
adjusted in smaller increments, letting speeds
that keep flicker to a minimum be found by
viewing the preview in the monitor.

High-frequency flicker reduction is available in modes S and M during
still photography and in mode M during video recording.
•
Exposure maintenance now applies during high-frequency flicker
reduction in photo mode when [ISO sensitivity] is selected for
Custom Setting b7 [Keep exp. when f/ changes].
