New DX-Only Image Size Options
The [Image size] item in the photo shooting
menu is now listed under [Image size
settings] together with two new items:
[Enable DX image sizes] and [Image size
(DX)]. The size for pictures taken using the
[DX (24×16)] image area can now be chosen
independently of pictures taken using other
image areas.

Item Description
[Image size]
Choose the size, in pixels, of pictures recorded with
the camera: [Large], [Medium], or [Small].
[Enable DX image
sizes]
When [ON] is selected for [Enable DX image sizes],
[Image size (DX)] can be used to choose the size of
pictures taken with the [DX (24×16)] image area
independently of the option chosen for [Image
size].
