Problems and Solutions
Solutions to some common issues are list
ed below.
Problem Solution
The camera displays a wireless error.
The camera displays a TCP/IP error
.
The camera displays an FTP error.
Connection settings require adjustment. Check settings
for the wireless router, FTP server, or host computer
and adjust camera settings appropriately (
0 322,
0 351).
Check the error code, if any. For more information, see
“Error Codes” (0 383).
“Connecting to computer” does not clear
from the camera display.
Check fir
ewall settings (
0 340, 0 355).
The camera displays the message,
“Ethernet cable is not connected”
.
Connect an Ethernet cable or select [OFF] for [Wired
LAN] (
0 335, 0 368,0 782).
The camera displays a “no memory card”
error.
The memor
y card is inserted incorrectly or not at all.
Check that card is inserted correctly (
0 86).
Upload is interrupted and fails to resume.
Upload will resume if the camera is turned off and then
on again (0 345).
The connection is unreliable.
If the camera is connected in infrastructure mode,
check that the router is set t
o a channel between 1 and
8 (
0 787, 0 792).
