If an option other than [None] is selected for Custom Setting d4
[
Pre-Release Capture options]> [Pre-release burst], a green
dot (I) will appear in the Y icon in the shooting display when
the shutter-release button is pressed halfway. If the shutter-
release button is not pressed the rest of the way down before
about 300 seconds have passed, the I will change to C and
Pre-Release Capture will be cancelled. A pre-release burst will
not be recorded if the shutter-release button is pressed all the
way down when C is displayed.
Depending on camera settings, Pre-Release Capture may be
cancelled before 300 seconds have passed.
The Y icon will start to flash about 30 seconds before Pre-
Release Capture is cancelled.
More Time for Pre-Release Capture
The length of time the camera will continue to buffer frames befor
e cancelling shooting during the
Pre-Release Capture phase of high-speed frame capture + has been increased from 30 to 300 seconds.
