51Basic Photography and Playback
Deleting Unwanted Pictures
Press the O button to delete the current picture. Note that
pictures cannot be recovered once deleted.
1 Display a picture you wish to delete.
Display a photo or movie you wish to
delete as described in “Basic
Playback” (0 49).
2 Delete the picture.
Press the O button. A confirmation
dialog will be displayed; press the O
button again to delete the picture
and return to playback. To exit
without deleting the picture, press
K.

To delete selected pictures, all pictures taken on selected dates, or all
pictures in a chosen location on the memory card, use the Delete
option in the playback menu.
