46 Basic Photography and Playback
4 Start recording.
Press the movie-record button to
start recording. While recording is in
progress, the camera will display a
recording indicator and the time
remaining. The camera can be
refocused at any time during
recording by pressing the AF-ON
button or tapping your subject in the
display. Sound is recorded via the
built-in microphone; do not cover
the microphone during recording.
5 End recording.
Press the movie-record button again
to end recording. The memory card
access lamp will light while the
camera finishes saving the movie to
the memory card. Do not eject the
memory card or remove or disconnect
the power source until the lamp has
gone out and recording is complete.
D The 0 Icon
A 0 icon indicates that movies cannot be recorded.
