Solutions to some common issues are listed below.

attery/display
The camera is on but does not respond:

ait for recording and other operations to end.
If the problem persists, turn the camera o.
If the camera does not turn o, remove and reinsert the battery.
- Any data currently being recorded will be lost.
- Data that have already been recorded are not aected by removing
the battery.
The display in the monitor turns o without w
arning:
Choose longer delays for Custom Setting c3 [Power o delay].
Shooting
The camera takes time to turn on:
More time will be needed to nd les if the memory card contains large
numbers of les or folders.
The shutter cannot be released:
Is a memor
y card inserted, and if so, does it have space available?
Is the memory card write-protected?
If you selected mode S after selecting a shutter speed of “Bulb” or
Time” in mode M, choose a dierent shutter speed.
Is [Release locked] selected for [Slot empty release lock] in the setup
menu?
The camera is slow to respond to the shutter-release button:
Select [O
] for Custom Setting d3 [Exposure delay mode].
Burst shooting is unavailable:
Burst shooting cannot be used in conjunction with HDR.
