The File Save Dialog (Batch Scans)
When Save to disk is selected in the Batch Scan tab and Nikon
Scan is used as a stand-alone application, the following dialog
will appear when the Scan button is clicked.
The File Saving Options dialog contains the following items:
File Naming
Files saved during a batch scan are assigned names consisting of
a prefix, a file number of from one to six digits, assigned in as-
cending order from a user-specified starting point, and a suffix.
The options in the File Naming area control the prefix, file num-
ber and suffix.
Item Description
Suffix Enter the desired suffix (up to forty letters).
Number of
digits
Use this slider to select the number of dig-
its for the file number (from one to six).
Prefix Enter the desired prefix (up to forty letters).
Starting
Index
File numbers will be assigned in ascending
order starting from this number.
Sample
Shows a sample of the file names that will
be assigned using the selected options.
