Get Ready Attaching the Camera Strap •• Guide one hand through the camera strap and hold the camera steady with both hands. •• When taking images, be careful not to cover the flash or lens with your fingers. BB After Attaching the Strap Do not swing the camera by the strap. The camera could strike objects or people causing injury and damage to the camera.
Get Ready Inserting the Battery and Memory Card Open the cover, and insert the battery and memory card. •• Look at the stickers and insert the battery and memory card the right way. Charging the Battery 1 Connect the camera to the Charging AC Adapter and to the electrical outlet. 9 8 7 If a plug adapter is included with your camera, attach the plug adapter to the plug on the Charging AC Adapter. Have More Fun Taking Images Underwater Before Using the Camera Underwater 11 Make sure there is no debris caught in the battery-chamber/memory card slot cover.
