Updating the Device Driver
If you are already using the D1 with Nikon View DX or Nikon Capture, you will need to up-
date the camera drivers.

Open the “Driver” tab and click Update Driver….

Open the Device Manager
Open the Device Manager. Expand the “Nikon 1394 Device” entry and double-
click Nikon Digital Camera D1.
