6 Fn (Function) button assignment: Choose the function
performed by the
Fn button either by itself or in
combination
with the command dials (0 36).
7 AE-L/AF-L button assignment: Choose the function performed
by the
AE-LIAF-L button either by itself or in combination
with the command dials (m 36).
8 Picture Control: Choose how photographs are processed
after shooting.

Long exposure noise reduction: Reduce noise at slow shutter

Tool Tips
A tool tip giving the name of the
selected items appears in the
information display.
· Viewing Button Assignments
iii, mI, and fII icons indicate the "button press" function
(0 36) performed respectively by the depth-of-field
preview button,
Fn button, and AE-L/AF-L button. The
"button+dials" functions (
36) are indicated by Ql'J,~, and
~ icons. If separate functions have been assigned to
"button press" and "button + dials," the latter assignment
can be viewed by pressing the ~~ button.
