Exposure
Mode
Exposure mode determines
how
the
camera sets shutter speed
and aperture when adjusting exposure. Four modes are available:
programmed auto
(P),
shutter-priority auto (5), aperture-priority
auto
(A),
and manual
(11).

B Lens Types
When using a
CPU
lens equipped
with
an
aperture ring
(CD
340), lock
the
aperture ring at the
minimum
aperture (highest f-number). Type G
lenses are
not
equipped
with
an
aperture ring.
Non-CPU lenses
can
only be used in exposure mode
Fl
(aperture-priority
auto) and
11
(manual). In
other
modes, exposure mode
FI
is
automatically selected when a non-CPU lens
is
attached
(CD
342). The
exposure mode indicator
(P
or
5)
in the control panel will blink and A
will be displayed in the viewfinder.
