Inserting
Memory
Cards
The camera records photographs
on
Secure Digital
(SO)
memory
cards (available
separately).
See
"Approved Memory Cards"
(~
158) for details.

Before
inserting
or
removing memory
cards,
turn
the
camera
off
and
open the memory
card
slot
cover.

Slide
the memory
card
in
as
shown
at right until
it
clicks
into
place.

The
memory
card access lamp will
light
for
about
a few seconds.
Close the
memory
card slot cover.
Ifa particular
memory
card will be used
with
this camera for
the
first
time, proceed
to
"Formatting Memory Cards"
(PE
24).
Removing
Memory
Cards
Confirm
that
the
access
lamp
is
off.
Turn
the
camera
off
and open
the
memory
card slot cover.
Press
the
card in
to
partially eject
(CD).
The card can then be
removed by hand
(0).
