Using the menu
The shooting menu ( , , , , or mode)

Continuous
H
While the shutter-release button is held all the way down, images are
captur
ed continuously.
The camera can capture up to about 10 images continuously at a
rate of about 7 fps.
Continuous
L
While the shutter-release button is held all the way down, images are
captur
ed continuously.
The camera can capture up to about 200 images continuously at a
rate of about 1 fps.
Pre-shooting

ache
Pre-shooting cache shooting begins when the shutter-release button
is pr
essed halfway. When the shutter-release button is pressed all the
way down, the camera saves the current image as well as the images
captured immediately before the button is pressed. Pre-shooting
cache makes it easy to capture perfect moments.

he camera can capture up to about 40 images continuously at a
rate of about 15 fps (including a maximum of 10 images captured
in the pre-shooting cache).
The image quality is xed at [Normal] and the image size is xed at
(1280 × 960 pixels).

Notes about [Continuous]
F
ocus and exposure are xed at the values determined with the rst shot in each series.
White balance is also xed at the value determined with the rst shot in each series,
except when using [Continuous L] or [Intvl timer shooting].
