The frame rate for continuous shooting may vary depending on the current photo size
setting, the memory card used, or shooting condition.

Focus, exposure, and hue for the second and subsequent images are xed at the values

Shoot backlit scenes
When ther
e are very bright and dark areas in the same frame, the high dynamic
range (HDR) compositing is applied and loss of details in highlights or shadows is
minimized.

• The camera focuses on the area in the center of the frame.
•
When the shutter-release button is pressed all the way, the camera shoots images
continuously and saves the following two images.
- A non-HDR composite image
- An HDR composite image in which the loss of details in highlights or shadows is
minimized
• Once the shutter-release button is pressed all the way, hold the camera still until a
still image is displayed. After taking a picture, do not turn the camera o before the
screen switches to the shooting screen.
• If HDR compositing could not be performed, the camera saves a non-HDR
composite image and an image in which dark areas are corrected.
