o format the internal memory.

Remove the memory card from the camera in advance.
F
ormatting the internal memory permanently deletes all data. Data that has
been deleted cannot be recovered. Make sure to save important images to a
computer before formatting.
To start formatting, press exible button 3 (
[F
ormat]) on the screen that is
displayed.
• Do not turn the camera o or open the battery-chamber/memory card slot cover
during formatting.
• You may not be able to select this setting while a wireless connection is
established.
