the
focus point.
Face-priority
AF:
A
double
yellow
border
will
be
displayed
when
the
camera
detects
a
portrait
subject
facing
the
camera
(if
multiple
faces,
up
to
a
maximum
of
35, are
detected,
the
camera
will
focus
on
the
closest
subject;
to
choose
a
different
subject,
press
the
multi
selector
up,
down,
left,
or
right).
Wide-
and
normal-area
AF:
Use
the
multi
selector
to
move
the
focus
point
to
any
point
in
the
frame,
or
press ®
to
position
the
focus
point
in
the
center
of
the
frame.
Subject-tracking
AF:
Position
the
focus
point
over
your
subject
and
press
®.
The focus
point
will
track
the
selected
subject
as
it
moves
through
the
frame.

B Flicker
You
may notice flicker or banding
in
the monitor during live view or when shooting movies
under certain types
of
lighting,
such
as
fluorescent or mercury-vapor lamps. Flicker and
banding
can
be reduced by choosing
an
option that matches the frequency
of
the local
AC
power supply for the Flicker reduction item
in
the setup menu.
B Exposure
Depending on the
scene,
exposure may differ from that which would
be
obtained when live
view
is
not
used. Metering in live view
is
adjusted to suit the live view display, producing
photographs with exposure close to what
is
seen
in
the monitor.
