Choose On (the default setting)
to
display tips for items selected in
the
shooting
information display,
Off
to
turn
tip
display off. This
option
is
available in all shooting
modes.

This
option
(available in all shooting modes) determines the maximum frame
advance rate in
Q!I
L (continuous
low
speed) release mode. Choose from values
between one and four frames per second (fps); the default setting
is
3 fps. Note
that
the
frame advance rate may
drop
below
the
selected value at slow shutter speeds.

File
Number
Sequence
When a photograph
is
taken, the camera names the file by adding one
to
the
last file
number
used. This
option
(available in all shooting modes) controls whether file
numbering continues from the last
number
used when a new folder
is
created, the
memory
card
is
formatted, or a
new
memory
card
is
inserted in
the
camera.

Sequence
If
the current folder
is
numbered 999 and contains either 999 photographs or a photograph
numbered 9999, the shutter-release
button
will be disabled and no further photographs can
be taken. Choose Reset for Custom Setting d7 (File
number
sequence) and then either
format the current
memory
card or insert a
new
memory card.
