After installing the barrel back into the slide, turn the slidelbanel assembly upside down and insert the
RewilMaster into the spring tunnel on the slide. It is not necessaty to remove the TAKE DOWN tool
until after you have reinstalled the slide on the gun.
2.
It is recommended that you take this time to re-oil the slide and at the same time, you may wish to
add a few drops of oil on the
RecoilMaster. Use of lubrication is strictly a shooters preference and will
not affect the
RecoilMaster in any way.
3.
Turn the slide assembly back over and install on the frame in the usual manner.
4.
After aligning the slide stop with the link hole, you can now rack the gun and remove the TAKE
DOWN tool. Place the TAKE DOWN tool in a safe place for future tear down and assemble.
5.
Rack the gun a few times to check for any unseen interferences.

Slide stop removal

Holding the handgun

by the gllp with one
hand, firmly grasp the h
the slide back. Be careful not to release pressure on the
slide or allow the handgun to slip from your grasp. Pull the
slide back until the disassembly notch on the slide (the
second notch from the
muzzle end) aligns with the rear of
the slide stop on the lefl-hand side of the handgun.

While maintaining the slide disassembly notch alignment
with the slide stop, remove the slide stop by pushing
against the extended portion of the stop, located on the right-hand side of the handgun.

TIP: Maintain a firm arasD on both the slide and frame to prevent anv
movement. pressurecan be released from the slide oncethe slide tops
has been removed.
Slide Assembly Removal
CAUTION:
Wear eye protection1 The next two steps require the removal of
a
spring under compression.

Remove the slide assemblv from the handoun frame while
'
maintaining a
firm
grip on the handgun.

Restrain the recoil sorina with the finaers of the hand holdinq the
slide to prevent the spring form leaving the slide assembly. ihe
recoil spring will be exposed at the underside of the slide as the
entire assembly moves forward and off the frame of the handgun.
Set the handgun frame aside after removing the slide assembly.
Spring and Guide Rod Head Removal from Slide Assembly
Turn the slide assembly upside down, carefully restraining the recoil
spring under tension. Compress
the recoil spring by grasping the guide
rod head and carefully withdraw both from the slide releasing the spring
