(74HC139), otherwise the transistors will be destroyed!

2.3.9 PNP Bipolar-transistors

The five PNP bipolar-transistors T1, T2, T3,

T6 and T7 are of the type BC327. During

placement you have to pay attention to

the polarity! The flat side of the transistor

is marked on the circuit board.

2.3.10 IR-photo-transistors

The photo-transistors PT3-PT5 are

for measuring the reflected IR-

emission. They are soldered onto the

board .

You have to pay attention to the

polarity: the short leg must be

placed into the rectangular soldering pad.

PT1 and PT2 are for measuring the motor rotation speed. PT1 must be

soldered onto board  and PT2 must be soldered onto board .

Therefore the photo-transistors have to be put through the holes from the

bottom side, so that the shorter leg will be placed near to the mark „C“

(cathode of the transistor). Afterwards the legs must be bend over towards
