Before installing the correct valve, review the following installation instructions to prevent damage to the valve and assure its maximum efficiency. For Plastic Installation Instructions, contact Technical Services at 1.888.446.4226. 4. Be sure that valve is fully open.

Cut tube end square to exact length needed, so that tube will enter valve socket all the way to the shoulder. Ream, burr and file. 2. Clean tube to a distance slightly more than what will fit into the socket, and clean valve socket. Wire brushes may be used, but avoid removing an excessive amount of metal. Fine sand cloth or emery cloth may be used with the same precautions. Steel wool is not recommended.

www.nibco.com AHEAD OF THE F L O W® Installation Instructions for Frostproof Sillcock HOW THE FIGURE 95C WORKS TIPS FOR LONG LIFE As shown on the schematic drawing on the right, the closing member (stem and disc assembly) of the Figure 95C Frostproof Sillcock operates by turning the handle in a clockwise manner to close and counter-clockwise to open. 1. The hose should be carefully moved about, so as not to cause abnormal tension via pulling and/or jerking.
