Starting an encoder
To start an encoder:
1.
Click on the encoder in the left side of the Niagara SCX Encoder Explorer window.
2.
Click the Encoder menu.
3.
Click Start. The system starts the encoder.
Note: You can also start an encoder by selecting the encoder, right-clicking, and
selecting Start Encoder.
Stopping an encoder
To stop an encoder:
1.
Click on the encoder in the left side of the Niagara SCX Encoder Explorer window.
2.
Click the Encoder menu.
3.
Click Stop. The encoder stops.
Note: You can also stop an encoder by clicking the right-mouse button and selecting
Stop Encoder while you have the specific item selected.
