The counts for Received Packets, Lost Packets, Recovered Packets and Unrecovered Packets can
be reset at any time by clicking on the Reset Network Statistics button in the UDP/RTP Stream
area of the Decoder Input configuration, also reproduced below:
Network Tab for HLS Stream
The Network Tab statistics for the HLS Stream are show below:
Type: This field will contain the following values:
o Unknown: the stream type is unknown.
o VOD: the stream is VOD content. This means that it is finite, it has a well-
defined end. The BRD will stop playing the content at the end, use the Restart
HLS Playback button in the HLS Stream configuration area to play it again.
o Live Stream: the stream is live.
o Event: the stream is an event. This means that it is finite, it has a well-defined
end. The BRD will stop playing the content at the end, use the Restart HLS
Playback button in the HLS Stream configuration area to play it again.
Profiles: indicates the number of profiles advertised by the server. You can get more
information about the profiles in the Program Info Tab for HLS Stream.
Profile Rate: indicates the bit rate of the current profile being downloaded, as advertised
by the server.
Segments Loaded: indicates the number of segments downloaded from the server since
the connection was made.
Segment Duration (s): Indicates the segment duration, in seconds, advertised by the
server.
