 Audio 1 Embedded Group: Select the group to embed the first decoded audio service.
Groups 1 through 4 can be selected, or audio embedding can be disabled:
 Audio 1 Embedded Channels: Select the channels to embed the first decoded audio.
The available choices are Channels 1-2 or Channels 3-4.
 Audio 2 Embedded Group, Audio 2 Embedded Channels: These controls are similar
to the corresponding Audio 1 controls. They select the embedding of the second decoded
audio pair.
 Format: This selects the output format. It is only relevant if the BRD is decoding a
Standard Definition (SD) signal and up-converting it to HD. Setting format to 4x3 will
produce a pillarbox image (a 4x3 image with black bands on both sides). Setting format
to 16x9 will stretch the image to full screen – this is recommended if the SD signal is
anamorphic.
 Enable Genlock: If this box is checked, the SDI output can be genlocked to a reference
signal. The following controls become available:
GOSTREAM BRD card
GOSTREAM BRD stand-alone
 Genlock Source: This control is displayed only for the openGear version of the decoder.
The openGear chassis has two reference inputs, marked Ref 1 and Ref 2. The
GOSTREAM BRD card will accept the genlock reference signal from either input.
