LED off: the BRD is not currently decoding a stream. There may be a valid video signal
in the output, but it does not correspond to a decoded stream.
LED flashing once per second: the BRD is currently outputting an SD stream on the
selected output ports.
LED flashing multiple times per second: the BRD is currently outputting an HD stream
on the selected output ports.
The Reference Input port has one green indicator LED, with the following states:
LED off: reference signal not valid.
LED on: reference signal valid.
The Reference signal is deemed valid if all the following conditions are met:
The BRD is configured for output genlock.
The BRD is receiving a valid genlock signal from the selected chassis reference input.
The genlock signal is compatible with the selected SDI output resolution and frame rate.
Consult the Decoder Output Configuration section later in this manual for the genlock source
selection and the SDI output configuration.
The Control and Streaming Ethernets port have two indicator LEDs, with the following states:
Green LED:
o Off: No link
o On: Link
Yellow LED:
o Off: No activity (transmit and/or receive)
o Flashing: Port is currently transmitting and/or receiving
Front Panel Indicators
A similar set of indicators exist in the front panel of the unit. The layout is depicted below.
The front panel LED indicators are as follows:
STAT: indicates the overall status of the unit.
o Green: no active alarm
o Red: at least one critical alarm present
When powering up the unit, this LED will be red until the board starts operation. At that
point, it will turn green if there is no active alarm or stay red if there is at least one alarm.
PWR: indicates that the power is OK.
