1. Self Test
(1) Smart Test
Press the control key once at the “XCopy Ready” mode to
activate the menu.
Press the control key and select “Self Test”.
The User can choose either a Smart Test or a Full Test.
Choose the Smart Test. The Smart Test uses an S.M.A.R.T
test provided by the hard drive.
The Smart Test takes several minutes to test the internal
hard drive. Pressing the control key initiates the Smart
Test.
The display tells the user that the S.M.A.R.T test is in
progress. This process takes several minutes.

Caution
● The ND2901 buzzer indicates the completion of the test. The power
does not turn off automatically at completion of the test.
● The ND2901 returns to the initial mode only after the user presses
the control key for more than 2 seconds.
● It is strongly recommended that the AC adapter be used during this
test in order to prevent battery failure during the process.
