5.5 Chart settings
Chart settings
provide various preferences for adjusting the chart view to your needs.
Open Chart settings from the Map’s application menu, from the settings icon with the text
Chart settings
. All these settings are view specific so changing them only affects the
currently active view. Chart settings include:
General
Chart orientation
From
chart orientation
you can select your chart to show
North up
or
Heading up
. With
heading up your course direction points upwards instead of rotating.
Heading line
Heading line
is a projected line that will indicating your heading.
Show trail
Show trail
shows the route you have sailed with a line in the map.
Autocenter
Keeps your boat automatically centered in the chart view.
Autozoom speed limit
Choose the speed limit in knots for autozoom.
Low speed zoom level
Choose the zoom level for a low boat speed.
Chart Layers
Easy view
EasyView™
is a Navionics exclusive feature, that makes the chart easier to read. It increases
the Chart’s text and marker size and hides irrelevant minor notation. You can choose the
feature to be on or off.
