RECYCLING

WARRANTY AND LIABILITY
Nexelec cannot be held liable if the detector
operates incorrectly or fails to operate or for
damage caused to the detector, or if the
detector is inappropriately attached or not
attached due to use or incorrect use or non-
compliance with the attachment procedure
or an incorrect attachment method or due
to incorrect attachment or non-compliance
with the precautions and limits for use de-
ned in this manual or due to negligence or
incorrect maintenance or incorrect storage
conditions for the attachment adhesive. Gi-
ven the many dierent factors which could
aect the attachment of the detector, only
the user is able to oversee all risks inherent
to the attachment of the detector and its
long-term attachment.

 Do not ax the adhesive to surfaces with a
temperature of less than 16°C at the time of
installation
 The adhesive has a life cycle of 10 years in a
residential environment:
- Temperature: 4°C to 45°C.
- Relative humidity: 10% to 95%
Exposure to temperatures, humidity or am-
bient pressure outside of the above normal
environment intervals can damage the adhe-
sive, reduce its performance and/or life cycle
and therefore downgrade the attachment of
the detector
 Do not remove, re-apply, modify, damage or
paint the adhesive before or after use
 The adhesive must be stored for a maximum
of 1 year in its original sealed packaging at a
temperature between 16°C and 35°C
 The adhesive must be rapidly axed after
opening the packaging
 The adhesive must be replaced after a re or
the presence of signicant smoke
 Check the adhesive visually on a monthly
basis: the adhesive must be uniformly eec-
tive
IMPORTANT: incorrectly secured detectors
can prove dangerous.
7 WAIT 24 HOURS
 The adhesive will only take full eect af-
ter 24 hours, guaranteeing optimum grip
 After this period, check that the adhesive
