Install the Thread Rod (M) according to the below work procedures, as shown in

Diagram 2-1.

1. Use an electric hammer drill to drill the thread rod holes on the ground.

2. Blow out the dust from the hole using a blow pump or oil free compressed air.

3. Clean the hole using a stiff nylon brush.

4. Clean the hole again using a blow pump or vacuum cleaner. Make sure all particles,

dust are all completely removed.

5. Dispense the Chemical Anchoring (P) material inside the hole and withdraw the nozzle

as the hole is lled

6. Insert the Thread Rod (M) into the hole immediately. This should be done slowly

with a slightly twisting motion.

7. Remove the excess Chemical Anchoring (P) material from the mouth of the hole.



 







Please Note:

1. Safety

It is recommended to wear appropriate safety equipment to avoid any risk of injuries but is not

limited to the following safety equipment when installing the Thread Rod (M): chemical resistant

gloves, safety glasses, long sleeves, and pants.

2. The concrete's thickness should be a min. of 4-5/16" (110mm).

3. Use a 3/8" (10mm) masonry drill bit to drill the hole for the M8 Thread Rod (M). The depth of the

hole should be 3-1/8" (80mm).

4. Leave the Thread Rod (M) undisturbed until it reaches the cure time. Please read the chemical

anchor instruction sheet to nd the cure time and see the precautions.
