B. Under condition where normal current flow through the battery will increase , the
battery should not be connected in series with the power supply.
C. When connecting a lead wire to the battery . direct soldering or direct spot welding to the
battery should be avoided.
D. In the case of soldering , practice it at the following condition ; temperature of solder ;
270 and less , soldering time : 5 sec . and less.℃
E. In the case of automated soldering , dip only the battery terminal in solder bath and be sure
that the battery is not stopped , nor fallen in the bath.
F. When the battery is used in apparatus which heats , set the battery away from the heating
part or if the battery is near the heat source , isolate them and design the insertion so that
the temperature at the battery is 60 and less. ℃
2.Prohibitive matters when handing Coin type Manganese Dioxide Lithium batteries
¬ The voltage of Coin type Manganese Dioxide Lithium batteries(3.0V) is different from
the voltage of the following batteries, so use Coin type Manganese Dioxide Lithium
batteries only in apparatus specially designed for them.
¬ Conventional batteries with different voltage: Manganese dry batteries(1.5V), Alkaline
manganese button batteries(1.5V);Sliveroxide batteries(1.5V),Mercury batteries
(1.4V),Lithium/Thionyl Chloride batteries(3.6V),etc.
¬ Do not use different types of batteries together, nor mix partially used batteries with new
ones.
¬ Do not use short-circuit (+)(-) of batteries.
¬ Do not reversely connect(+)(-) of batteries.
