EcoCart Assembly Manual 10. Place flat washer, lock washer, then nut onto bolt and tighten 13. Insert bolt through black negative (-) battery terminal. NOTE: Sparking is normal for the first connection. 11. Securely tighten nut with wrenches; then pull red rubber boot over terminal. 14. Retrieve nut, lock washer and flat washer (as shown above) 12. Light should turn red. 16. Make sure all fittings are tight and battery is strapped down in the cabinet. Test unit before placing battery cover on. (See steps 17 & 18) 19. EcoCart Assembly Manual Operating Tips: 1. Charge your battery before using it to ensure it is fully charged. Turn off the unit, and simply plug the charger cord (located on side of unit) into a standard wall unit. 2. Monitor the battery status meter on the cart. 3. Batteries should not be discharged below 11.5 volts as this will shorten the life of the battery. 4. Batteries SHOULD NOT be stored in a discharged state for more than 1 or 2 days.
