Pizza Oven Maintenance and Cleaning
Cleaning the Baking Stone
Clean the Baking stones with a long-handled brass brush. It is best to do this while the Baking
stones are hot.
1. Wear long, insulated gloves, and use caution when doing so.
2. Never cook greasy, or oily foods directly on the Baking stones.
3. Never use cleaners on the Baking stones.
4. Never drop the Baking Stone or cause sudden impact. The stone will most likely crack.
5. Do not cook frozen pizza on the baking stones directly, otherwise pizza dough will get sticked
to the backing stone. Please use pizza pan for the frozen pizza.
Cleaning the Burner
1. To maximize Pizza Oven performance, clean the exterior of the burner with a abrasive scouring
pad. Remove stubborn scale with a metal scraper.
2. Clear any clogged ports with a straightened paper clip. Never use a wooden toothpick as it may
break o and clog the port.
3. Shake out any debris through the air shutter.
4. Use a ashlight to inspect the burner inlet to ensure it is not blocked. If obstructions can be
seen, clean it with a paper clip or a pipe cleaner.
Cleaning the Warming Drawer
Remove the Main Burner
1. Remove the Baking Stone.
2. Unscrew the fasteners securing the Bottom burner to the rebox.
3. Then pull the burner to the right and Lift it up.
Remove the Back Burner
1. Loosen the thumb screw located on both side of the Fire Guard.
2. Unscrew the fasteners securing the Back burner to the Fire Box.
3. Lift the burner up so the burner head comes o the brass orice at the front.
1. The Warming tray should be cleaned. After the Pizza Oven is completely cool, open the warming
drawer and clean it with damp cloth or soapy water if you wish, but do not use harsh cleaning
substances as these could be toxic and can damage the stainless-steel nish.
2. Also, check the Warming Drawer after rain. If you’ve left the Pizza Oven uncovered, you may
need to remove the Warming Drawer from the slides to drain the water from the tray. Below are
the instructions to remove the Warming Drawer:
CAUTION
Do not allow excess grease or liquids to accumulate in the Warming tray as they may create a re
hazard.
Never use the Pizza Oven without the Warming tray installed.
