t. Replace any wiring which has been disconnected.
u. Inspect the hydronic system. Look for leaks and repair any found. If system contains antifreeze, or other additives,
test and/or maintain them as directed by the additive manufacturer. See Part XI (Start-up and Checkout) for
important information on boiler water and the use of boiler water additives.
v. Test the ow switch. To do this:
• Start with the boiler in standby.
• Close a shut-off valve in the boiler loop.
• InitiateacallforheatandconrmthattheboilershowsHold137indicatingthattheowswitchisopen.
w. Follow ALL instructions in Part XI (Start-up and Checkout) to place the boiler back in service, including the
performance of a combustion test.
CAUTION
If burner comes on with no ow through the boiler, there is a problem with the ow switch. Turn the
boiler off immediately. Failure to do so could cause severe heat exchanger damage.
